VIOLA SCUTCHINGS It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Viola Scutchings, on May 27, 2005. Viola was predeceased by her husband Richard; her parents Ester and Henry Friesen. She leaves behind her children, Doug Scutchings, Linda (Bob) Crites, Alice Scutchings; her grandchildren, Connie (Kirby), Chris (Tannis), Matthew, Garrioch and her great-grandchild Karman; her siblings, Raymond Friesen, Gladys Sparrow, Bernice (Norman) Bjorndalen, Louella (Einar) Bjorndalen, Jim (Loretta) Friesen and many others. Also Vi's companion, Gordon Plett. She retired in 2001 from Manitoba Home Care, she devoted her life to volunteering and helping others. She had a big heart with ambition and a strong will. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy # 1 East. at Navin Road. Viewing will be held at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Thanks to the Grace Hospital staff for their caring and efforts.
