KATHERINE (KAY) KOROPAS August 8, 1912 - May 30, 2005 Kay Koropas passed away peacefully following a brief illness with family at her side on Monday, May 30, 2005 at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Kay was predeceased by her husband John; daughter Clara; granddaughter Bobbi; and daughter-in-law Nellie; as well as her parents and 11 brothers and sisters. She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory her son Joe; grandchildren, Randy (Sandy), Gary (Maria), Jason (Cassie) and Bruce (Liz); great-grandchildren, Scott, Nicole and Kaitlin. In lieu of flowers, friends so wishing may make a donation in Kay's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses at Seven Oaks Hospital. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held Friday, June 3 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Everyone is invited to gather at the funeral home.
