RONALD JOSEPH DOYLE An outgoing, loving man, Ron died on Sunday, May 29, 2005 at his residence which he shared with his wife Lynn Scaletta. Ron was predeceased by his father John Joseph Doyle. The many family members who are mourning the loss of Ronnie are his wife Lynn and her children, Lisa and Jason and grandchildren, Shanea, Shayla, and Samantha, (their Papa); his mother Marion Doyle; his sisters, Marjorie Doyle, Marion Newsham (Dale), Karen Boucher (Paul); his brothers, Dennis Doyle (Terry) and Tom Doyle (Colleen) and their families; his Aunt Anne Dowton; his in-laws, Seano and Shirley Scaletta and Lynn's brothers, Dean (Rachel) and Todd (Christine) and their families. Ron, Ronnie to his friends, and Rascal to his father was the youngest of John and Marion Doyle's family, he was the classic baby of the family and lived his life by his own rules. He was a very private man who had a multitude of friends but his ROCK was his wife Lynn. She was everything to him. Everyone knew that RONNIE loved his LYNNIE and equally everyone knew that LYNNIE loved her RONNIE. They were inseparable and good to and for one another. Ron was the child most like his Dad and it appears to be fate that he, like his Dad, passed away at such a young age. Ron was only 46 and his Dad was 55. Ron was talented in every area that attracted his interest. He loved to golf and besides three holes-in-one his real claim to fame was his golfing record that he set at the Windsor Golf Course. He shot a 58 stroke game for 18 holes on a par 68 course and that made his entire family very proud. It was and still is a course record. He was an excellent hockey player and spent many years thrashing it out in the rink with his buddies. He played for the Hawerchuk team and that made him very proud. He also played baseball for years and once again thrived at the fun of the game. Just like his Dad, Ron was very competitive. He played to win and for the best part of it all he did win. His sisters and brothers have always conceded that Ron was the most popular member of the family, he had hundreds of friends. He was loyal and the friendships have lasted for many years. Ron and his brother Tom were best buddies. Honorary pallbearers are Jason Scaletta, John McGhee, Tom Doyle, Dennis Doyle, Frank Block, Kevin Block, Tom Davidson, and Paul Boucher. Celebration of Ron's life will take place at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Road, Windsor Park on Thursday, June 2 at 11:00 a.m. Recognition of Ron's life and friendship can be made to the charity of your choice. A beautiful life came to an end. Ron died as he lived: everyone's friend. He was always loving, thoughtful and kind, What a precious memory Ron left behind. Treasure him God in your garden at rest for in our world, he was one of the best. Ron you were a wonderful son and I will miss you. Love Mom.
