Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) TRYNACITY Suddenly on May 29, 2005 in Winnipeg, William (Bill) Trynacity died from a massive heart attack just shy of his 76th birthday. Bill was born in The Pas, MB June 11, 1929. He moved to Winnipeg after high school where he met his future wife Margaret. They were married for 52 years and spent most of their life together in Gimli. Coming from little means, Bill wanted to build a better life for he and his family. And he did. Bill was a witty conversationalist who enjoyed reading everything from newspapers to biographies to historical novels. When he finally put down his books he could be found puttering away in the kitchen or garden. Later in life, he and Marge travelled to Hawaii every winter where they enjoyed the company of lifelong friends. He took great pride in Marge's painting and in the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren. In his younger years, Bill was active in the community as Past President of the Gimli Kinsmen Club, Past President of the Gimli Lutheran Church Council. He was a Past Master of the Viking Lodge #175. Member of the Khartum Temple Vintage Car Unit and a member of the Interlake Shrine Club. Bill leaves to mourn his loving wife Margaret (Marge); his eldest daughter Karen Troughton of Saskatoon (Gerry), Kim Trynacity of Edmonton (David Popowich) and his grandchildren, Ramsey Troughton, Alex Troughton and Zachary Trynacity-Popowich. Bill is also survived by his mother Mary Wozny (Trynacity) of Winnipeg and his sister Elsie Vatzel of Morden. Bill was predeceased by his father Alexander Trynacity in 1956. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Shriners Club. Viewing will take place at Gilbart's Funeral Home in Gimli, Thursday, June 2 (tonight) from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Following cremation, funeral services will be held Friday, June 3 at the Gimli Lutheran Church at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Rainie McKinnon officiating. Marge We were truly sorry, surprised and shocked to be sent a notice from Jack and Sandra about Bill's sudden passing. The winter months in Hawaii will be different without him being there. God bless you at this time. Sincerely, Tony & Lynne - Posted by: Tony & Lynne Allport (Acquaintance) on: Jun 02, 2005
