Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTELLA ELDORA KLOCHKO (MORRISON) September 1, 1926 - May 28, 2005 Peacefully, with a close friend at her side, Mom passed away at Tudor House in Selkirk, MB, on Saturday, May 28, 2005. Left to mourn Mom's passing and cherish her loving memories are her two sons, Walter (Linda) and Ken; her grandchildren, Tessa, Kyle and Taylor; her aunt, Dorothy Brown; her life long friend, Pat and husband Bob Rudin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Stella was predeceased by her husband John; her two sisters, Thelma St. George and Fay Dewald; her brother Kenneth; her first husband Peter Peepchuk; and her parents, Wallace and Martha Mom was born in Moose Lake, Minnesota and grew up quickly in central Minnesota, losing her dad and brother in the same year before she had reached her tenth birthday. After finishing her eighth grade, she went out to work, later, moving to Minneapolis, and working in a publishing house while her sisters went through high school. In the mid 50s Stella came to Malonton, MB to see her aunt and here met her first husband Peter. Losing her husband after being married for a few short years, Mom married our father, John, in 1960. It was here on the farm that Mom raised her family while taking on her share of the farm work. Stella also helped out part time and then looked after the Malonton store during the years her family was growing up. Mom enjoyed reading, knitting, and many hours of board games with family and friends at the end of the day when the work was done. Stella opened her home to friends and family throughout the spring, summer and fall. A special thanks to the staff and new friends at Tudor House, that had grown close to Mom during her brief stay there. We appreciate the tender care that was given. The memorial service will be held Saturday, June 4 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mackenzie Funeral Chapel in Teulon, MB, with Pastor Bruce Dewald officiating. Interment to follow at St. Stephen's Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Cemetery (Pleasant Home). Reception to follow.
