Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY (MARCIA) YANISHEWSKI At the age of 100 years, Mary Yanishewski passed away at the Betel Home in Gimli, MB on May 31, 2005. Mary leaves to mourn her passing, her children, Frank Yanishewski, Verna (Roy) McLean, Eilleen (John) Morley; daughters-in-law, Rose Scotch and Bev Janis; son-in-law Ed Howelko; 24 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Baba spent her entire life in the R.M. of Gimli. With courage, faith and determination she overcame many hardships and obstacles and successfully raised her blended family. She was most happy in her kitchen, nurturing her family and in the garden, nurturing her plants. Marcia's family invites you to celebrate the life of a wonderful and caring woman on Saturday, June 4 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gimli Funeral Chapel with viewing one-half hour prior to the service. Robin Slobogian will preside. Interment in the Dnister Cemetery. Her pallbearers will be Michael and Delaine Yanishewski, Brian and Alan Howelko, Twyla Kenyon and Dennis Mosolowski. Mary was a faithful member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Winnipeg Beach. One of her greatest joys was to be busy in sharing the good news of God's Kingdom. She died with the hope of a resurrection when paradise will soon be restored here on earth under righteous conditions. She looked forward to seeing the fulfilment of Isaiah 35:5 At that time the eyes of the blind ones will be opened. Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli in care of arrangements.
