Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH JAMES HOPKINS Suddenly on Wednesday, June 1, 2005 Kenneth James Hopkins passed away at his residence in Berens River at the age of 55 years. Kenneth was born on April 4, 1950 at Sydney Mines, NS. He was both a sailor and a cook on the Great Lakes and the Coast Guard. For the past six years Kenneth and Helen operated the Barra Inn in Berens River. He enjoyed fishing and was always socializing with family and friends at the Inn. He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory his wife Helen Pauline; son Max; daughters, Shannon, Nadine, Cherise, Melissa and son Brendon; sisters, Wendy Hicks (Wayne), Maxine Billard (Jim), Sharyn Musgrave (Wendell); brothers, Peter Hopkins (Pat) and Fred Hopkins; four grandchildren, Jillian, Travis, Raven and Britain. He was predeceased by his parents Mary and Maxwell Hopkins; brother Ronnie and sisters, Joan and Lynn. Friends are welcome to join the family on Saturday, June 4 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., to celebrate the life of Kenneth James Hopkins at the Barra Inn, Berens River.
