JOHN HALDOURD LLOYD ARTHURSON John Haldourd Lloyd Arthurson passed away with his family at his side on May 28, 2005 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre after a long courageous battle with cancer. John was born on April 18, 1940 in Norway House, MB, the son of John and Margaret Arthurson. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 43 years, Yvonne; children, Claudia Arthurson, Calvin (Bonnie) Arthurson, Curtis (Terri) Arthurson, Clayton (Heather) Arthurson all of Brandon, Candice Arthurson (Brian Demas) of Virden and Cy (Andrea) Arthurson of Calgary; Julie (Don) Stanley of Dauphin and Tom (Linda) Potter of Brandon; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Bennett of Stonewall; sister-in-law, Helen Ford of Brandon; brother-in-law, Jorgen Schou of Kitimat, BC; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. John was predeceased by his parents, John and Margaret Arthurson; sisters, Norma Bryant and Dorothy Schou; and son-in-law Ron Daniels. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
