SISTER ANNE MARIE NAULT 1915 - 2005 On Wednesday, June 1, 2005, Sr. Anne Marie Nault passed away at the Misericordia Place Personal Care Home, at the age of 89 years. Sr. Anne Marie has come to the end of her earthly journey and now continues on her second journey with the Grace of God. Sr. Anne Marie is survived by her Religious Sisters of the Child Jesus; youngest sister Dolores Poot (Neil); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Blanche Laroche (Leo), Agnes Richardson (Elmer) and Theresa Miller (Ken); and brother Antoine Tony (Jessie). As each day begins we should pause and remember how one person can make a difference. Sr. Anne Marie was the eldest daughter of a pioneer family, Damase Nault and Alvina Perrault, of Fort Garry. She spent many years as an educator, mentor and seamstress for the Children at First Nation Missions, Williams Lake, BC, and Sechelt, BC. Each child was special to her. After ten years of Pastoral Care at Riverview Centre, Sr. Anne Marie retired due to Parkinson's Disease. In 2003, Sr. Anne Marie celebrated her 50th anniversary of her Religious Profession throughout her life. Sr. Anne Marie touched many lives through her example of giving of her love and sharing. A Memorial Service was held on Friday, June 3 at 2:00 p.m. at Misericordia Place Personal Care Home, 44 Furby St., by Pastoral Care. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, June 6 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy. Interment will follow in the Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephew Wayne Richardson, cousin Peter Manchulenko, family friend Dr. F.C. Violago and Religious Associate of the Srs. Child Jesus, John Wood. Pallbearers will be brother-in-law Neil Poot Sr., nephews, Marc Poot, Chris Poot, Neil Poot Jr., Bert Grift and Dan Laroche. Thank you to the staff of Rose Walk at Misericordia Place for their dedication in making her last days comfortable. Also, thank you to all who visited, sat and prayed with her. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sr. Anne Marie's memory may be made to the Missionary Association of the Sisters of the Child Jesus, 318 Laval St., Coquitlam, BC V3K 4W4; or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Suite 200, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6; or the Parkinson Society of Manitoba, 302 - 17 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1M4.
