KATHERINE MARTHA IDA YOUNG November 18, 1919 - June 1, 2005 Peacefully after a lengthy illness at Deer Lodge Centre, our beautiful mother and nanny passed over. It is with honour of her journey of life that we would like to thank all of the absolutely wonderful staff at Deer Lodge Centre at Tower 6 for the best care our mother could have received from their hearts and ours. Katherine worked for many years at St. John's College. She was a little lady with a big heart. Her gifts in life besides her babies were walking for miles, dancing, and her great sense of humour - she loved to laugh. Katherine was predeceased by her parents Victoria and Charles Grabowski and all of her siblings. Also her husband Robert and baby son Donnie. She is survived by her children, son Glen and wife; daughters, Karen and Bonnie; her grandchildren, Candy and husband, Donnie, Vanessa, Royal, Corey and David; her great-grandchildren, Daniel, Tyler, Amanda and Matthew. A private family service will be held in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's All Beliefs and Faiths Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Ave. at Sharp Boulevard. Interment to follow on July 15 in Brookside Cemetery. Thank you Mom for your selfless heart and loving being. We will always miss and love you. You'll be forever in our hearts.
