Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLIFTON AYERS WORTH July 11, 1918 - May 27, 2005 Clifton peacefully passed away at the Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, BC, in his 87th year after a courageous battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 54 years, Nora (nee Donnelly), and his identical twin brother Eric, both of whom passed in 1996. He will be greatly missed by his sons, David (spouse Judy) and Raymond (spouse Ann); daughter Carol; his seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In The Second World War, Clifton served his country overseas as a Sergeant with the Royal Canadian Air Force. A pianist from his teens, Clif dedicated his life to music. For 30 years he served as organist and choirmaster at Fort Garry United Church. For many years after retirement from the church, he directed and conducted the Senior Citizens Choir of Winnipeg. Amidst his music, he supported his family managing the Western Canadian Distribution Centre of Rowntree's Confectionaries (now Nestle Canada). The family would like to thank Dr. Erik Baasch for his kindly support through Dad's illness. We extend many thanks to all his loyal friends and relatives, there to support him through his life's journey. Memorial services were held at First United Church in White Rock on June 2, and will be in Winnipeg at Fort Garry United Church, 825 Point Rd. in Fort Garry on June 17, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to a charity of your choosing, in Clifton's name.
