MICHAEL (MIKE) WAKSHINSKI Peacefully, with his family by his side, Mike passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on Saturday, June 4, 2005 at the age of 83 years. Mike will be sadly missed by his wife of 53 years, Olga; sons, Russell (Jacqueline), Michael and Pat (Lisa); grandchildren, Cory, Daniel and Trisha; brother Adam Watson (Helen). He was predeceased by his parents, his stepfather and sister. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, June 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Funeral Rites will be held on Wednesday, June 8 at 10:30 a.m. in the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Poplar Park, MB with Fr. Evan Maximiuk officiating. Interment will follow in the churchyard cemetery. Please bring a lawn chair and weather appropriate attire to church. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in Mike's memory can be made to CancerCare MB, Rm 1160, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
