ROGER JOSEPH LUSSIER With sad and heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Roger Joseph Lussier surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, June 4, 2005 at the age of 61 years. Roger will be forever remembered and his memory cherished by his wife of 39 years, Rose-Marie; his children, Lise, Colleen (Tom), Cory (Kathleen), James, Janine, Simon and Stephanie; grandchildren, Sabrina, Danielle, Kiana and Erin; his father, Gerard Lussier; 11 surviving brothers and sisters, Rita, Alice, Cecile, Marie, Jeanne, Fernande, Evelyn, Joe, Arthur, Maurice, and Ronald and their respective spouses. Roger was born on April 18, 1944 in Pine Falls, Manitoba. A devoted husband and provider, he was a man of all trades. He was the life and soul of our family and lived life to its fullest, never complaining. He was compassionate to all; he accepted and faced life's challenges always urging us to do our best and persevere. Roger's family extends their sincere thanks to all family and friends, to Dr. and Mrs. Philip Hughes, to the homecare and palliative care nurses, Pauline and Christie, as well as Fathers Maurice Jeanneau and Armand LeGal for their kindness, prayers, support and professional help. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Armand LeGal at the Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church in Lorette, MB, on Wednesday, June 8 at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in the Lorette Parish Cemetery following the mass.
