Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySONIA GERTRUDE FRIGHT Peacefully, Sonia Fright, beloved wife of the late George Fright, passed away June 6, 2005 at the Grace General Hospital at the age of 88 years. Sonia will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Linda (John) Spicer, Susan (Merv) Lestition; five grandchildren, Ken, Sandy, and Laura Spicer, Brad and Lisa Lestition; brother Jack (Mirdza) Dumans and family, nieces, nephews and many dear friends, some lifelong. Sonia was a devoted partner to her husband George. She loved family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren. Sonia was a member of the Rossmere Golf and Country Club and enjoyed her golf, curling and bridge. Sonia had a compassionate love for all her pets. A Celebration of Sonia's Life will be held on Friday, June 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. A private family interment has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations in Sonia's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Suite 200, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. So sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. I really enjoyed our visit a couple of months ago with some of the Ogilvie group. We had a good chance to chat to and from her home. What a graceful, kind and thoughtful lady she was. We regret not being able to attend the celebration as I've got a bad knee and Shirl just had some surgery on Tuesday.
