LINDA ELLEN WISEMAN (BOWDEN) October 16, 1943 - June 6, 2005 On June 6, 2005 Mom peacefully went home to be with her Saviour. Her utmost passion was for the homeless men, women and children of the inner city of Winnipeg. Together with her husband Jim they were able to reach out and restore the lives of thousands of people. Mom and Dad shared their lives with their three children, Blaire, Patricia, and Angela (Sheldon). Family meant everything to her and we always came first. Her greatest joy was found when she spent time with her grandchildren, Natasha, Troy, Madeline, Ireland, and Draven. They will keep your memories in their hearts forever. When we gaze to heaven, we will look into your eyes and see your beautiful smile again, all weariness gone, strong and whole when the sorrow of your parting is gone forever! She will be deeply missed by those left her to treasure her memory. Her husband Jim of 33 years; and her three children, Blaire, Patricia and Angela (Sheldon); and her grandchildren, Natasha, Troy, Madeline, Ireland and Draven; her ten brothers and sisters; as well as many nephews, nieces and cherished friends. We would like to extend a special thank you to St. Boniface General Hospital, Palliative Care. Thank you to Dr. Crawford and all the staff for your loving care that you bestowed upon our Mom. The funeral service will be at Springs Church, 595 Lagimodiere Blvd. at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 11. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Springs Inner City. May the road rise to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. And rain softly upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

  • Linda's example of Christ will leave a lasting impact on the lives of people who have come into contact with her.
