VALERIE GALE HIEBERT Peacefully on Wednesday, June 8, 2005, Valerie passed away at the Victoria General Hospital. She will lovingly be remembered by her husband of 46 years, Henry; her daughter Karen (Simon) Mundey and son Greg (Tanis). Her grandchildren, Christopher and Scott Mundey and Kyle and Shay-Lynn Hiebert. As well, she leaves to mourn her, her mother Bernice Mudry and her brother Wayne (Eileen) Mudry, her niece Heather (Gary) Bogacki. Sisters-in-law, Nettie (John) Hamm, Tina (Abe) Thiessen, Anne (Lem) Pelley and Eva Hiebert; brother-in-law Peter (Bertha) Hiebert and families. She was predeceased by her father John in 1990. Valerie was born March 28, 1940 in Winnipeg, MB to John and Bernice Mudry. She grew up outside of St. Norbert. In 1959, she married the love of her life Henry. They spent all their life on Red River Drive where she was a homemaker and raised their children. Funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church, 933 Summerside Ave. on Monday, June 13 at 2:00. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at the Andrechuk Family Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers will be: Simon Mundey, Gary Bogacki, Lem Pelley, Jake Hamm, Tom Hiebert and Glenn Bartmanovich. The family would like to thank Dr. Jeyakumar and the oncology nurses, Dr. Ogaranko and the wonderful staff on the 5th floor at the Victoria Hospital for the wonderful care of our wife and mother for the two weeks she was hospitalized; and the kindness they showed all of us during her stay.
