GLADYS A. I. WALKER January 19, 1914 - February 22, 2005 We sadly announce the passing of Gladys on February 22, 2005. We have so many happy memories of Glad. She was so very good and generous to all the boys that boarded with her. Glad's life was not an easy one. Her story is one that would make some people bitter. Glad however, made the best of everything that came her way. She was always cheerful and full of energy. She was interested in all the boarders and people she met. We will always remember her quote Come again, when you can't stay so long . Peacefully sleeping, resting at last, The world's weary troubles and trails are past, In silence she suffered, in patience she bore, Till God called her home to suffer no more. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Glenboro Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. on June 22, 2005.
