GARRY WINTER Peacefully, Garry Winter, beloved husband of Patricia Winter passed away June 9, 2005 at the Health Sciences Centre with his family that he truly loved, at his side. Garry, the youngest of five children, was born on July 2, 1939 in Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1951. He was an upholster by trade and took great pride in his work. Garry always found time to enjoy life and have a good time and always had a kind word for everyone. Garry met his loving wife in the late 1950s while drumming with the Royal Flames . He loved his family, enjoyed his music, enjoyed the sun in his back yard, vacationing in Mexico, watching his nephews play hockey and he was a big fan at the Winnipeg Police 'A' Side Baseball games where he was well known by all as Uncle Garry . Funeral service will he held on Tuesday, June 14 at 2:00 p.m. at the New Apostolic Church, 1755 Taylor Ave. Burial at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens with reception to follow. Pallbearers to be his nephews. A special thank you to Dr. John Kreml and Dr. John Rabson for the care they provided.
