ROBERT (BOBBY) NICHOLAS METRO WISH In loving memory of our dear son, brother, uncle and cousin who passed suddenly on June 3, 2005 at 54 years of age. He was predeceased by his father Nicholas Wish. He will be sadly missed by his mother Dorothy Anne Wish; his brother Gary (Susan) Wish; his sister Anne-Shirley (Robb) Clough; his nieces, Leslie Lahoda and Jade Wish; his nephews, Christopher Lahoda and Jardy Wish; aunts, uncles and cousins. Bobby was an extremely intelligent and creative man who was struck in his early twenties with schizophrenia. At that time he was in second year Architecture at the University of Manitoba. He was an artist and a musician. Bobby and his brother Gary were born one year apart and were inseparable. With many friends in their Luxton neighbourhood, they played football, baseball, hockey and poker (no money was exchanged so they told their mother). They often went swimming in the Red River but always showered afterwards so their mother didn't know they were doing dangerous activities. His niece and nephew remember him as a fun uncle who gave them horseyback rides and played football with them. They recall always hiding his cigarettes on him in the hopes that he would quit smoking. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, June 17 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the West Kildonan Legion at the corner of Hartford Avenue and Main Street. The family invites any of his friends from the neighbourhood' to join them in remembering the good old days'. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
