DANIEL EDWARD ZAHARI June 11, 1963 - June 11, 2005 On his birthday, Dan passed away peacefully with his family at his side after a lengthy battle with cancer. Dan was born in Winnipeg and lived in the Norwood area. He attended Nordale School, Nelson McIntyre School and Springs Academy. As a child, he was a loyal Winnipeg Blue Bomber fan. His grandchildren were one of the greatest loves of his life. Dan was committed to making a difference in all his endeavours. He volunteered as the Treasurer for Kirkfield Westwood Community Centre and the Stuart Murray MLA Kirkfield Park. In 2003 he ran for office as a Conservative candidate in the St. Boniface area.
