ANNA HUDYMA It is with much sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Ann Hudyma. Ann will be lovingly remembered by her son Zorian (Leona); daughter Maria (Clarence Kohut); grandchildren, Zenon (Victoria), Larissa (Peter), Paul and Linda. Her husband John in 1982 and her parents and three brothers predeceased Ann. Mom was born in Selo Hrobivka, Ternopliska, Oblast, Ukraine. After the Second World War, dad preceded her to Canada. In 1958, with the help of her family, mom joined him. Mom belonged to Institute Prosivta, sang in the choir and was a member of St. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral church. Mom loved to sing and would tape her songs so that her children and grandchildren would have a keepsake. She also loved flowers and baking whenever possible. Her Paskas were the best. She never forgot her roots in Ukraine as she loved to tell us stories of her life with her parents and extended families. Thank you mom for those beautiful memories. A special thank you to mom's home care workers. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 15 at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 16 at St. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral, 114 McGregor St. with Rev. Fr. M. Kouts officiating. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers are Zenon Hudyma, Clarence Kohut, Linda Kohut, Paul Kohut, Stan Kondrat and John Werhun.
