Their love and devotion for each other was constant and everlasting. They could be seen walking hand-in-hand in Beausejour every Friday for their weekly trip to town. Leona will always be remembered for her love of socializing with family and friends, for her sense of humour and for her love of joking around with anyone she met. Mom was an excellent cook and prepared many fine meals for gatherings with family and friends. She is survived by husband Mike; sons, Brian (Donna) of Anola and Sid (Carol) of Lac du Bonnet; grandchildren, Tracy, Denise, Nicole, Christine and Sheila (Sean); great-grandchildren, Taylor and Jenna. She is also survived by her extra special friends, Diana and Ed Gunning. Diana and Mom were truly like daughter and mother. She was predeceased by brother Walter; sisters, Sally, Jean, Helen and Ann; parents, Frank and Lottie Yadlowski. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 16 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Beausejour, MB with Rev. Fr. Corl Tarnopolski presiding. Prayers will be said at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 15 at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Owen Steeves. Interment will follow at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church Cemetery. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Zeiler and to the staff at the Beausejour Health Centre for their excellent care during Mom's stay at the hospital. Their thoughtfulness, consideration and personal care for Mom during her stay at the hospital was exceptional. Pallbearers will be Ed Gunning, Harry Wittmeier, Bill Pasaluko, Ken Lesosky, Larry Pusiewich and Joe Lesko.
