FLORENCE GEORGETTE CHOPIK Born May 9, 1920 - Passed away June 13, 2005 Florence was predeceased by her parents, Emelie and Edward Wincott and an infant daughter. She is survived by her nieces, Shirley (Ewald) Schentag and Florence (Bob) Lewer and her nephews, Ted and Len (Adrianne) Freeman. Florence was employed at Jacob Crowley as a switchboard operator receptionist for a number of years. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 17 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Special thanks to Jean Zurcher for her loving care of her adopted aunt. Also thanks to Concordia Place Nursing third floor staff and support staff for their caring and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Human Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3 or the Zoological Society of Manitoba, 54 Zoo Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3P 2N8.
