Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE KAZINA With great sadness our family announces the passing of Anne Kazina, on June 13, 2005 at Concordia Hospital. Our mother and nanny was born June 7, 1922, in Cromwell (near Beausejour, MB). She was one of 11 children born to John and Margaret Wilgosh and is survived by one brother Burnie Wilgosh. She was predeceased by her loving husband Michael Kazina in 1972 and eight brothers and only sister Mary Paterson in 2004. She is survived by daughter Audrey (Bert) Epp; grandchildren, Sherrill (Jason) Buhr and Ryan (Cecely) Neufeld; and great-grandsons, Reese and Kobey Buhr. She is also mourned by Godson Allen Paterson and many extended family members and friends. Anne and Michael spent many happy years together on Victoria Avenue East in Transcona where they demonstrated their gift of hospitality to family and friends. In 1997, she moved to Gable Arms on Henderson Highway where she enjoyed the social activities and companionship of many special friends. We will all remember Nanny's zest for life, infectious smile and great sense of humour. We will miss her delicious perogies, scrumptious pies, tasty soups and chocolate chip cookies, not to mention the joy she felt when she could fill a hungry tummy. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone for their sympathy, caring, warm friendship and love during this difficult time. Special thanks to Dr. Nicole Mercier for her many years of faithful service and to Dr. Eric Bohm, who gave her two more years of independence. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Andrew Cooke (CancerCare Manitoba) for his support and ongoing involvement. Also, thanks to the orthopaedic staff at Concordia Hospital, especially Pat, who had that special touch. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Redeemer Church, (stained glass window fund), 264 Donwood Dr. A celebration of Anne's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on June 17 at Holy Redeemer Church, 264 Donwood Dr. Cremation has taken place and private interment at Transcona Cemetery will occur at a later date. Transcona Funeral Chapel is assisting. Nanny, we will miss your hugs, kisses and never-ending smiles. We love you. I don't know how or when I'll die. Will it be a thief or will I have a chance to say goodbye. I don't know how much time is left, But in the end, I will know your faithfulness. (Brian Doerksen, 2002)

My sincerest condolences. I worked at Co-op Implements from 1979 until 1984 where Anne worked in the cafeteria. Her friendliness and caring were so special I have thought of her in the years since. Anne was always a joy to talk with. She will be missed. Take care. - Posted by: Leslie Hardy (Acquaintance) on: Jun 19, 2005
