ANDRE LEPINE Andre passed away in Victoria, BC on Thursday, June 9, 2005, at the age of 39 following a brief illness. His was a life well lived cut much too short. First and foremost Andre was a people person. He made friends easily and enjoyed nothing better than spending time talking and visiting with those closest to him. Andre had a generous spirit, a good heart, a mischievous laugh and a joie de vivre that he shared with those nearest and dearest. His gifts made him well suited for the various sales positions he held throughout his life. Several years ago Andre's sense of independence and adventure led him to the West Coast where he built a good life for himself surrounded by what he loved most - people, pets and plants. Anyone who had the pleasure of taking a walk with Andre along the ocean knows how much he enjoyed the simple pleasures and beauty of life. Mourning his loss are his Mom Aline and Dad John; siblings, Mitch, Louise, Madeleine and Yvonne; as well as countless friends and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Andre shared a special bond with his Aunt Gisele and good friend Heather. He will be greatly missed by his beloved dog Sneakers. A memorial service was held in Victoria. Plans for a gathering in Winnipeg will be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
