ERIFILY NASH 1911 - 2005 After a lengthy illness, Erifily Nash passed away peacefully on June 12, 2005 at the West Park Manor Personal Care Home. Erifily was born in Tarabya, Turkey, November 29, 1911. She was predeceased by her loving husband James Konstantine Nash in 1987. Her memory lives on through her daughter Ourania Legeros, husband George, granddaughter Nia Knudsen and husband Craig, great-grandchildren Elene and Erik, grandson James Legeros and his wife Jan. Erifily lost her mother at the age of two years and was raised by her uncle, Cornelius Nedelkou, and his family who provided her with love, courage, and fortitude, that guided her throughout her life. At the age of 18 years, she immigrated to Canada in 1928. She was a competitive tennis player, and loved to cook, sew, and entertain. Her love of family was paramount in her life. She was an active member of the Greek community in Winnipeg and an astute business woman. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 18 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with interment and reception to follow. The family wishes to express deep and sincere thanks to friends and caregivers at West Park Manor Personal Care Home for their prayers and loving support. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to the Alzheimer Society of Winnipeg, Unit 10 - 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
