Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory(NORMA) ELVA BROOKS Peacefully on June 14, 2005, surrounded by her children, (Norma) Elva Brooks aged 89 passed away. Predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Bill; sister Margaret Gillespie and her brother Harman Stockdale. Elva is survived by her loving children, two sons, Bill (Kathy), Gary (Valerie) and three daughters, Linda Dale, Valerie (Alex) Gelhorn all of Winnipeg and Lorraine (Ron) Bannon of Toronto, ON. Also left to cherish her memory are her sister Hilda Collett, her much loved grandchildren, their families as well as many nieces and nephews. Elva was born October 3, 1915 in Arden, MB. She dedicated her life to her family. Elva resided in Charleswood for over 50 years. She most recently had been a resident of the Hawthorne House in the Rosewood Village where she and her family appreciated the excellent care she was given. In keeping with Elva's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 17 at 10:00 a.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. THOMSON IN THE PARK FUNERAL HOME AND CEMETERY 1291 McGillivray Blvd. - 925-1120
