LAU NIELS JORGENSEN It is with great sadness and sorrow we announce the passing of Lau Jorgensen. Lau leaves his loving wife Agnes; and his beautiful sons, Thomas and Patrick. Surrounded by his family and close friends, Lau left us on Monday, June 13, 2005. Lau was born in Denmark on July 5, 1953. He was predeceased by his parents, Aage Jorgensen and Grethe Christensen. In addition to his wife and sons, Lau leaves his sister Connie (Fleming) Lorup, his brother Ib and (Lis) Jorgensen, as well as many family and friends in Denmark and Winnipeg. Lau lived, as he loved with a true heart and a gentle spirit. He was a generous, kind man and was always there to lend a helping hand. His true joys in his life were his family and friends. As a master craftsman Lau built a beautiful home which was his pride and joy, where family and friends were always welcomed. Lau worked for many years in the masonry field perfecting his skill. He was a dedicated, hard working man and a mentor to many. He'll always be remembered as a man, both strong and good. Who gave his best for others and who did the best he could. He'll always be remembered for all the joy he brought. As a man who made a difference and a man who meant a lot. A celebration of Lau's life will take place on Saturday, June 18 at 10:00 a.m. at the Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations can be made in Lau's memory in trust for his sons, Thomas and Patrick. Donations can be made at CIBC at 87 - 333 St. Mary's Ave., Winnipeg, MB, made out to The Jorgensen Family . Lau's spirit will continue to live on. It was his wish to give the gift of life to others through organ donation. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111 Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolences at www.gleneden-mb.ca.
