Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory"NIIGAAWEDAMOK" MYRTLE THERESE NELSON-EDWARDS December 6, 1930 - June 15, 2005 Myrtle was from the Roseau River Anishinaabe First Nation. At 74 years old, she peacefully passed away at the East View Care Home in Altona, MB. Myrtle was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Lena Nelson; her brothers, Louie, Clifford, Babe, Tony, Donald and Stanley. Her husband, Frank Edwards (1983). Her children, Leslie, Walter, Rosa Lee, Rose-Mary, Jack and Steven. Her grandson, Shannon Troy (1982) and her great-granddaughter Sheena Marie (2005). She will be sadly missed by all those who loved her, her brothers, Oliver and Richard Nelson. Her children, Joan (Donny), Peter, Annette, Gina, Alison, Joanne (Dennis), Charles (Robyn), Margaret and Mary. Her special sister-in-law Marjorie Nelson and all her relatives and friends, too numerous to mention. Wake services was held at the Roseau River First Nation Community Hall on Thursday, June 16 at 6:00 p.m. Traditional funeral service ceremony will start at noon on Saturday, June 18.
