MARGARET GERA Peacefully in the early morning of June 15, 2005 Margaret passed away in her sleep. Mom was predeceased by her husband Michael; her parents, Michael and Gisela; brother John; sisters, Irene, Elsie, and Helen and daughter-in-law Millie. She is survived by children, Lawrence, Sandra, and Dave (Joyce). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Susan (Chester), Larry, Russell, Jennifer (Stacey), Kevin (Linda), Duane (Camille); great-grandchildren, Kim, Chad, Raven, Emily, Michael and Kayli. She also leaves to mourn, her sister Isobel; stepsister Ann; brothers, Robert and Edward and their families. Mom was a very loving and caring person throughout her lifetime. She took care of many foster children. She loved all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and doted on them. Through the past years with Alzheimer's she greatly depended on help through the Homecare system. A special thanks for nine years to Olga Pawluk for all the wonderful care and compassion she gave to mom and the family as well Dr. Karen Lage and the staff at Concordia Hospital, 3 West. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers donations in Margaret's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
