JEANNETTE LAURA KORMILO (BUDZINSKI)

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANNETTE LAURA KORMILO (nee BUDZINSKI) Peacefully with her family by her side, Jeannette passed away on June 17, 2005 at the Arborg and District Health Centre. Jeannette was predeceased by her husband Edward in 2004. Her sisters, Joyce Richards, Francis Budzinski, Pauline Woytowich; her brothers-in-law, Bill and Harry; and her parents, Rose and Anthony Budzinski. She will be forever missed by her daughter Janice (Harold) Glowach and son Christopher (Lorrie) Kormilo, grandchildren, Lynette, Melissa (Jeff), Jennifer and Brian; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Paige; brother-in-law Stan (Marlene) Kormilo and numerous nieces and nephews. Jeannette was born on November 19, 1930 in Fort Garry, MB. She grew up in the Fort Whyte area. Later she met and married Edward in 1949. They established a fuel oil business and construction company in Lockport. She enjoyed taking care of the bookkeeping along with raising their family. She was very artistic and musically inclined since she took pleasure playing the accordian, violin and organ. In 1983, Mom and Dad retired and moved to the Arborg area. Mom was a great cook and baker. She was a kind hearted, soft spoken, caring woman who loved her family. The funeral service will be held at the MacKenzie Funeral Home in Arborg on Tuesday, June 21 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at the Okno Cemetery in Okno, MB. The active pallbearers will be Glen Hutchinson, Ron Ladobrook, Glen Kormilo, Tim Kormilo, Ron Lisecki and Corey Dudar. All of the family and friends are to consider themselves as honorary pallbearers. A special thanks to Dr. Beukes and all of the staff at the Arborg and District Health Centre for their care of our mother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeannette's name to the Arborg and District Health Centre. MacKenzie Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
