Eileen was sharp of tongue but kind of heart. She loved her Bingo, knitting, casinos and Harlequin Romance. She also enjoyed travelling which she did a lot of with her family throughout the years of her life. Eileen, also known as E.T., was blessed with a richly supportive group of friends, too many to mention, whose sterling qualities were increasingly evident in the months, weeks and hours before her death. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Roseau Hospital, MN, Dr. Erickson for the wonderful care you gave our mother and the Cancer Care and staff and Doctors for their care and support. There will be prayers on June 22 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Helgeson's Funeral Home in Roseau, MN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Fund or Heart and Stroke. Please hold her in your arms, And treasure her with care, Make up for all she suffered, And all she had to bare. Please whisper in her ear, In case she didn't hear, How much we truly love her, And wish she was still here.
