PHELICIA BATER 1910 - 2005 It is with treasured memories that we announce that our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Phelicia Bater passed away peacefully on June 18, 2005. Phelicia was born in Winnipeg, MB on February 14, 1910. She always welcomed family and friends to her home on Erin Street and cherished the time she spent with them at her cabin in Twin Beaches, MB. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Vernon (Dorothea), Mervyn (Sandra), Robert and her grandchildren, Rob (Janet), Kevyn, John (Shannon), Len (Lisa), Janice (Mark), Susan (Jeff) and 14 great-grandchildren. Also remembered by Elaine and Devon and many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Phelicia was predeceased by her husband Ed; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Charlie (Olive), Edgar (Edna). She was also predeceased by Helen Mitchell. A heartfelt thanks to Bob for his unwavering dedication to Mom's care. A memorial service celebrating Phelicia's life will be held on Wednesday, June 22 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Catherine Anglican Church, 3202 Bird's Hill Road, East St. Paul, MB. Flowers gratefully declined. Mom lived her life for love of friends and family, Neither asking nor wanting a return. Her days became a sunlit homily, With others' joy her main concern.
