Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY ADELINE LOWER Passed away peacefully on June 18, 2005 in Teulon Hospital with her family at her side. Leaving to cherish her memory is her loving husband George of 57 years; two daughters, Brenda Eirikson, Darlene Schlamp (Bob); three sisters, Lil Lower, Mabel Fingland (Clarence), Lauraine Ganton; sisters-in-law, Gloria McLeod and Jean McLeod and four loving grandchildren, Jill, Jesse, Brendan and Becky. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Annie and Samuel McLeod; six brothers, Willie, Clarence, Clifford, Dick, Eddie, Ken; a sister Ellen, and a precious granddaughter Ingrid. Mary was born in Winnipeg and moved with her family to Saskatchewan. When she was finished her schooling she was accepted for a position in Yorkton Hospital. She returned to Winnipeg, and in 1948 she married her best friend George. Mary enjoyed ten wonderful years as a member of Ivy Rebecca Lodge No. 19 and in 1967 the family moved to Lundar. She became a member of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 185. Mary loved her hobbies of knitting and sewing and was always working on some project for her two daughters who she loved very much. In 1989, she and George moved to Teulon and have made it their permanent home. Friends may call on Tuesday evening, June 21 at 7:00 p.m. to pay their respects at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Teulon. Funeral service will be held at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Teulon on Wednesday, June 22 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Patricia McMahon will officiate. Interment will follow at Dundas Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Guttormson, Philip Nikkel, Bill Fulford, Allan McLeod, Bryan Fingland and Mike Beauchamp. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or to the Canadian Diabetes Association. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
