DAVID A. WILLIAMSON Peacefully on June 18, 2005 at the Riverview Health Centre, David Williamson passed away at the age of 62 years, surrounded by his family. David will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Beverly; sons, Allen (Jenny) Williamson, Paul (Melanie) Williamson, step-sons, Shawn (Caroline) Filion, Darryl Filion; grandchildren, Katelyn, David, Adam, Matt; sisters, Joyce (Jack) Kirkland, Doreen (John) Borud, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and countless friends. Born in Winnipeg, David grew up in the Windsor Park area. He spent untold glorious hours as a child at Sioux Narrows, ON, where his mom and dad operated their small store during the summer months. As a teenager, David developed a keen interest in hot rod cars and became an avid enthusiast throughout his life as he enjoyed building and driving his treasures over the years. David entered the steel service business as a young adult and continued working in that industry until very recently when he left his work family and retired from his position as General Manager at Brunswick Steel. David was a gentle, kind, thoughtful man who loved woodworking and crafted many beautiful gifts and heirlooms for family and friends, which are surely to be passed down from generation to generation. The loss of this wonderful man will be deeply felt by everyone who came to know and love him. David will always be remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and will forever be in our hearts.
