ENES SMITH (nee GATTI) It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend, Enes Smith at the Concordia Hospital on June 20, 2005 at the age of 78. She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory her only daughter Alison and son-in-law Ken; sister Rose; brothers, Joe (Mary), Vance (Gail); brother-in-law Nick Dalianis and her special nieces and nephews, Carole, Paul, John, Michelle, Vincent, Gary, Linda and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, Moses and Josephine and her sister Carmela. Enes was a special person. She was kind, caring and hard working. She dedicated her life to her daughter and to her family and friends. Nothing was ever too much for her and she always put others before herself. She had a soft heart and a kind word for everyone. She had the exceptional gift of making friends and touched all who knew her. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Concordia Hospital, particularly Helen, Sharleen and Jan for their exceptional care, comfort and support to Enes and her family. Alison also wishes to thank her family and her mother's numerous friends for their support, visits and prayers. A celebration of Enes' life will be held on Thursday, June 23 at 10:00 a.m. in the E.J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in Enes' memory to CancerCare Manitoba 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
