Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON JOHN LOFTO With great sadness we announce the death of Gordon John Lofto on Monday, June 20, 2005 at the Grace Hospital. Gordon is survived by his loving wife Connie; his children, Barbara (Bruce), Ted, Brenda (Scott) and grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kent, Michael, John and Melanie; sister Thelma (Maurice); brother Ken (Jeannette); brother-in-law Warren (Vera, deceased) and many nieces and nephews. Gordon was born August 17, 1926 in Starbuck, MB where he lived and farmed. In 1956 Gordon moved his family to Winnipeg and was employed with the City of Winnipeg Transit Department for 23 years. After retirement in 1984, he and Connie spent many wonderful summers at their cottage at Brereton Lake and fulfilled their dreams of travelling. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 23 at McClure United Church, 533 Greenwood Place (behind the CNIB). In lieu of flowers, donations in Gordon's memory may be made to the Starbuck Cemetery Board, in care of Mr. K. Malcolm, Box 165, Starbuck, MB R0G 2P0, or to a charity of your choice. I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I have fond memories of Mr. Lofto, albeit from many years ago!
