EDITH GRAFTON Peacefully with immediate family by her side, Mrs. Edith Grafton (nee Lewis) passed away at Misericordia Hospital. Edith was predeceased by Bernard Grafton, her husband of 53 years; her brother Irvine; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret and Beatrice. Edith will lovingly be remembered by her daughters, Betty and Lynne (Eduardo); son Kevin (Melanie); nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters of both families; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Edith was born in Makinak, MB, moved to Crandall and attended normal school in Winnipeg. She met Bernard Grafton in Forrest, MB, her lifetime partner. They enjoyed dancing, numerous crafts and being with people, always smiling. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 24 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with Rev. Ian Shaw officiating. Interment will follow immediately after service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
