Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY YANISIW September 28, 1913 - June 20, 2005 Suddenly, on Monday, June 20, 2005, at the age of 91, Stanley passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. Stanley will be sadly missed by his wife Tillie (nee Boyko) of 64 years; his nine children, Joe, Mary (Ted Edwards), Lillian, Shirley, Diana, William (Barbara), Elaine (Brian Hoover), Sharon (Fern Laurin) and Robert (Rhonda Gagawchuk); 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild who was born on his 91st birthday. Stanley was predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters, and his son-in-law Peter in 2002. Stanley was born in Chatfield in 1913. Stanley and Tillie were married in 1940. They settled in Chatfield where they farmed on his father's homestead until 1945. They settled in East Braintree in 1952. Stanley logged in the area until 1983 when he semi-retired. He looked forward to the large family get-togethers, bingo and any mechanical challenge. Prayers will take place on Thursday, June 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 East, Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Reynold's Community Centre, Prawda, MB with Pastor Jerry Spoor officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Mary's Riverside Cemetery, Prawda. The family would like to express sincere thanks to Dr. Fredette, Joanne Setlack and staff of the Ste.
