JOHN FRANK MARTIN On Wednesday, June 22, 2005, John passed away at the Health Sciences Centre with his sisters at his side, at the age of 67 years. Remaining to cherish his memory are his sisters, Marie, Liz (Rod), Gloria (Don), Sylvia (Dick) and Theresa of Calgary; brothers, Joe (Mary) and Peter (Margaret) of British Columbia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his father Peter; mother Rose; and his younger brother Danny. John was a gentle soul with a wonderful sense of humour and we will miss his jokes. In accordance with John's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A private family interment will follow at a later date. Our family wishes to thank the staff at the MICU at the Health Sciences Centre for their compassionate and wonderful care, especially Deborah. In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
