DONALD JAMES MCDONALD Supported by his family, Donald James McDonald completed his earthly journey on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at the Victoria General Hospital. Donald was born July 23, 1952 and lived most of his life in Winnipeg. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Norman and Teresa; his brothers, Michael (Allison), Gerard (Theresa), and John (Susan); nieces, Katherine, Jacqueline, and Amy and nephews, Andrew, Brandon, Cole, and Scott. Donald was also blessed by his extended family Said and Linda Shahinfar and their children, Cassandra, Sabrina, and Victoria. Donald had many special gifts, the most impressive was his ability to make friends with whomever he met. He will always be remembered for his uncanny memory of old songs and his ability to recall old events. He remembered only good times. Donald touched the lives of all who knew him with his spirit and sense of humour and will be missed. He was employed at Norshell Inc. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Victoria Hospital ICU for their professional care and compassion. A celebration of Donald's life will be held Tuesday, June 28 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, 250 Burrin Ave. In lieu of flowers a donation maybe made to a charity of your choice.
