Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIRGINIA CHRISTINA TROUT (SINCLAIR) (nee WALKER) November 17, 1942 - June 22, 2005 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Virginia (Jean) on June 22, 2005, at the age of 62 after a short battle with leukemia. She left us to join those who predeceased her - daughter Harriet Ellen; and parents Harriet and William Walker; her brothers, Daniel, Ernest, Earl; and her granddaughter Jermaine; also brother-in-law Normand Sinclair. Virginia (Jean) is survived by her husband Andy Trout; daughters, Barbara (Mickey), Nancy (Richard), Eileen (Shawn), Angelene (Dallas), Jacquie, Anita, Wendy (Clinton); and grandson she raised, Kent (her boy); and great-granddaughter Shaylene (her girl); 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and also her three sisters, Elizabeth Sinclair, Violet (Harold) Buckler and Doris Stevenson; one brother Bert (Gertrude) Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews and relatives; also special friend Clement Guimond. Virginia (Jean) was a loving, generous, strong, forgiving woman. She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her. It broke our hearts to lose you But you did not go alone For part of us went with you When God called you Home. Though your smile is gone forever And your hand we cannot touch, We will never lose the memory Of one we loved so much. Thanks for the loving years you gave us, The happy times we shared; We all prayed that when you left us You knew how much we cared. Our family chain is broken And nothing seems the same But as God calls us one by one The chain will link again. Wake services will be held on Sunday, June 26 at 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Home, 1020 Main St., Winnipeg, MB. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 27 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, at Donald and Graham entrance. Interment to follow at St. Vital Cemetery, then back to the church for dinner. Pallbearers will be Bootem Walker, Issac Sinclair, Mickey McKnight, Dallas Giesbrecht, Richard Guiboche, Shawn Parenteau. Honorary pallbearers will be Kent Sinclair, Andy Trout and Clement Guimond. The family would like to thank her nurse, Maryanne, for her special care and concern, also Chris and the other Palliative Care nurses, Dr. Houston and nurse Barb at CancerCare Manitoba for their compassion and special care.
