VICTOR VIC WIENS May 3, 1958 - June 23, 2005 It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of their beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle Victor Wiens on Thursday, June 23, 2005 at the Riverview Health Centre. Vic was predeceased by his father-in-law Norman Zagozewski. Vic leaves to cherish his many memories, his beloved wife of 25 years Angie; his daughter Susan; son David; his parents, Heinrich and Luise Wiens; his sisters, Ann, Luise (Gordon) Kroeker; brothers, Henry (Barb), John (Dorothy), Gerhard (Cindy), Art (Lynda); his mother-in-law Lena Zagozewski; brother-in-law Dennis; sisters-in-law Peggy and Virginia (Colin). As well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Vic worked in the trucking industry for over 20 years and most recently he was employed with Winnipeg Motor Express as an owner operator. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to the Palliative Care Staff at the Riverview Health Centre. A celebration of Vic's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28 at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Riverview Health Centre Palliative Care, 1 Morley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3L 9Z9.
