Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLESLIE T. BROWN Born in Winnipeg on September 28, 1920, Leslie Brown passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital on Saturday, June 25, 2005. He was predeceased by his parents, Catherine and Robert and his two brothers, John and Robert (Bert). Leslie will be lovingly remembered by his wife Faith; sons, David (Dianna) and Richard (Barbara); daughters, Sharon Lepine (Gerry) and Lauri Buhr (Peter); grandchildren, Timothy (Karen), Jes, Tanya (Darren), Dale and Lesley; five great-grandchildren; brother William (Wylla) and sister-in-law Dixon (Bob). Leslie and Faith would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 30, 2005. He worked at Burns meats for 38 years, retiring in 1977. Leslie was a life member of the ANAF unit 283 and served with the Winnipeg Rifles and the Edmonton Fussiliers. He loved to bowl, play darts, curl and garden. He also enjoyed game bird hunting with his brothers and his sons. Our thanks to all the caring nurses on the third floor and the emergency staff at the Grace Hospital for the care given to Leslie. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 29, at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, donations to the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. My Deepest Sympathy to "All" of the Family. I still remember all of you while living with Mary and George on St. Charles Street and always admired what a wonderful family you are.
