THERESE EMMA MARIE THERRIEN (nee THERRIEN) Peacefully, on Saturday, June 25, 2005 Therese passed away at Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, MB at the age of 83 years. Therese is survived by her daughter Nicole (Cliff) Gesell and grandchildren Matthew and Cameron; sister Berthe Gelineau; sisters-in-law, Simone Hebert, Louise Mireault, Berthe Therrien; brothers-in-law, Arsene Therrien and Jean-Baptiste Courcelles. Therese was predeceased by her husband Emmanuel in 1991; sisters, Leoda, Laurette, Rose; brothers, Albert and Donat. Therese was born in Lorette, MB on August 9, 1921 and was raised on the family farm. Therese married Emmanuel Therrien on November 10, 1956 and lived on the old Mireault family farm in Dufresne. Therese loved having company and everyone who came to visit was welcomed with open arms. Funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, June 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Notre Dame de Lorette Church, in Lorette, with viewing half an hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in the Parish cemetery. The family wishes to thank all the staff and Dr. Richard Duval at the Villa Youville for their excellent care, support and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations in Therese's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
