MURIEL ALICE BROOKS (nee PHILP) January 13, 1924 - June 25, 2005 After a tremendously valiant battle with cancer, Muriel passed away peacefully with her ever present smile, on Saturday, June 25, 2005, at the St. Boniface General Hospital, at the age of 81 years. Muriel was the beloved wife of Ron; devoted mother of Derek and Diane; cherished grandmother to Jessica; a special sister, aunt and friend. In compliance with Muriel's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Instead, please honour her memory with an act of love and kindness. Our family gratefully acknowledges and thanks her doctors and the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion. You are our hero and An inspiration to us all.
