MARY KANTIMER (nee SALAMANDYK) September 3, 1910 - June 25, 2005 Peacefully on June 25, 2005, Mary passed away at the age of 94 years. Mary is survived by daughters, Violet Kantimer and Helen Mykietowich (Ron); sons, Michael and Maurice (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Jennifer (Jim), D'Arcy (Cindy), Christina (David), Shallon, Donnie (Joan) and Jeffrey (Pat); great-grandchildren, Brennan, Scott, Steven, Jordan, Madison, Mitchell, Kallie and Alex; brother John (Irene) Salamandyk and son-in-law Fred Fedak. She was predeceased by her husband John; daughter Delores Fedak; son Michael; brothers, Alec, Pete, and Joe; sister Doris and son-in-law Mitchell. Mary was born and raised in Stuartburn, MB. The family moved to Winnipeg in the early 50s. Mary's priorities in life were her children. She enjoyed needlework crafts and loved to prepare the traditional Ukrainian meals for her family. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 2 at 9:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A private family interment will take place in Stuartburn, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Unit 10, 120 Donald St. Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. I love you .
