DOREEN ELLEN THOMPSON Doreen Ellen Thompson passed away very suddenly on Sunday, June 26, 2005 at the age of 84. She is survived by her only daughter, Lynda (Roland) Toker; three grandsons, Cory (Mandy) of Winnipeg, MB, Todd (Shelley) of Calgary, AB, Regan (Krista) of Westbank, BC and four great-grandsons, Jared, Trendan, Nicholas and Keegan. Also surviving are two sisters, Barbara (Laurie) Thomas of Kelowna, BC, Pat (Don) Kunderman of Winnipeg; one brother Bob (Charlotte) Campbell of Winnipeg, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Don; one sister Marg and one brother Gordon. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 4 at 2:00 p.m. at First Memorial Funeral Services, 1211 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, friends who so wish may make memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association in memory of Mrs. Thompson.
