MARY HILDEBRAND (nee HARMS) 1912 - 2005 Our mother, Mary Hildebrand passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, June 27, 2005 at the Rock Lake Hospital in Crystal City. She was predeceased by her husband Peter, in 1992, her parents and one brother. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Irene (Ray) Penner, John (Tina), Agnes (Harry) Huebner, Art (Marge), Peter (Betty-Anne), Eleanor (Ed) Reimer, Marlene (Ken) Kroeker, a foster child Virginia Lavasseur, 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, six brothers and three sisters. Mom spent most of her years on the family farm at Crystal City, devoting herself to caring for her children and extending gracious hospitality to a large extended family and many others. She loved to work and enjoyed her flowers, gardening, reading, baking and sewing. Her strong faith and integrity were evident in the way she lived her life and actively participated in the Crystal City Mennonite Church. Mom was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 30 at 2:00 p.m. in the Crystal City Mennonite Church. Donations may be made to MCC, 134 Plaza Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3T 5K9. We, her family, would like to express our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to the caring staff at Rock Lake Personal Care Home in Pilot Mound where Mom spent the last eight years of her life and to Dr. P. Roos and the nursing staff at Rock Lake Hospital.
