ROSALIE (ROSE) BEDDALL Peacefully, on June 30, 2005, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Rose Beddall, passed away at Kin Place Personal Care Home, Oakbank, at age 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Harold in 1995, Rose leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her children, William (Joann), Roseanne (Henry), Dave (Cathy), Bruce (Marjorie), John (Marjorie), James (Lorraine), Jean (Charlie), Joseph (Cathy); 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Belle Kallwies. Born November 27, 1920 to Herman and Anna Klatt in Moosehorn, MB, Rose moved at age 12 years to reside in Anola; where she met and married Harold Beddall in 1940. Harold and Rose had enjoyed a good life together for 54 years. During her marriage, Rose began a collection of salt and pepper shakers, which grew with many contributions from the travels of her many friends, and at last count was 600 sets. A wonderful cook and homemaker, Rose always looked forward to the family get-togethers. Bingo and playing cards with good friends were Rose's other favourite pastimes. Rose had lived her lifetime in Anola until moving to Kin Place, Oakbank. After moving to Kin Place, her close friendship continued with Elsie Eedy and Margaret Turriff, and the three became lovingly known as The Three Musketeers . The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Kin Place for the care and compassion extended to our mother, with special thanks to Dave and Cathy (Biddy) who were always there for Mom. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Service to terminate at the chapel with interment at a later date. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
